The Itinerary

DAY 1 – Arrival in Guiyang – Scenic Drive to Dafang

Upon arrival at Guiyang Airport, your private guide and driver will meet you and transfer you directly to Dafang, a tranquil town nestled near the famous azalea forests. The 2-hour journey offers a relaxing transition into the peaceful countryside of Guizhou.

DAY 2 – Dafang to Anshun – Walk Through an Ocean of Azaleas

Begin the day with a peaceful walk in the Azalea Forest Park, beating the crowds to fully enjoy the vast floral landscape. Cross a suspension bridge to reach a scenic hilltop pavilion offering sweeping views of blooming hills. Your guide will help you capture stunning photos. In the afternoon, drive to Anshun, a small city close to China’s largest waterfall.

DAY 3 – Anshun to Ditang – The Great Waterfall & Cave Camping

Start the morning at Huangguoshu Waterfall, the largest in China and a landmark of Chinese literature. Walk behind the waterfall into the Water-Curtain Cave, said to be the home of the Monkey King. In the afternoon, drive to Ditang, where you'll spend the night camping in a limestone cave. Enjoy a unique dinner prepared by local Buyi people, surrounded by mountains under the evening sky.

After lunch, head to Danzhai, stopping to visit the FAST Telescope, the largest radio telescope in the world. Learn how China’s “Sky Eye” is changing astronomy. Check into a hot spring resort themed around Guizhou’s ethnic cultures. It may be touristy—but it’s also a hub preserving endangered art forms.
