Day 1 – Arrival in Chongqing

Day 2 – Contrasts of Chongqing: History, Hills, and Hotpot

Start your journey at the Huguang Guild Hall to learn about the Yangtze River’s role in regional history. Visit Hongyadong, a lively shopping area with traditional stilt houses. Stroll through Goose Neck Park and spot locals playing Mahjong. Discover colonial-era architecture and Chiang Kai-shek’s former residence. Catch a light-rail train as it cuts through a building, then take a thrilling cable car across the Yangtze. Wrap up the day with a walk on Longmenhao Old Street and a night view from a city skyscraper — after a spicy hotpot dinner.

Day 3 – Chongqing to Wulong | Wulong Karst National Geology Park

Travel to Wulong in the morning to explore the magnificent karst landscape. Admire three colossal natural stone bridges and two vast sinkholes on a 3-kilometer scenic walk at the valley’s base. The Wulong Karst is considered the world's largest natural bridge complex.

Day 4 – Wulong to Chongqing | Furong Cave Adventure

Enter Furong Cave, a vast underground network of vertical shafts and horizontal passages. Recognized alongside Mammoth Cave (USA) and Clamouse Cave (France), it’s one of the world’s most spectacular cave systems. After the cave visit, enjoy a relaxing cruise on the Furong River before heading back to Chongqing.

Day 5 – Dazu Rock Carvings and High-Speed Train to Chengdu

Discover the artistic and spiritual beauty of the Dazu Rock Carvings — a massive collection of 50,000 Buddhist, Taoist, and Confucian statues carved into rock since 650 AD. In the late afternoon, board a bullet train to Chengdu for the next chapter of your journey.

Day 6 – Chengdu | Panda Encounters and City Discovery
