Your journey begins with a warm welcome at Huangshan, where your private guide and chauffeur will greet you holding a personalized sign for a seamless transfer, regardless of your mode of transportation—train, flight, or bus. You will stay at either the Huangshan International Hotel (4★) or the Huangshan Libre Resorts (5★). Immerse yourself in local culture by savoring an authentic Hui-style banquet at a heritage restaurant. Then, explore Hongcun Village, a UNESCO World Heritage site and an 800-year-old "living museum" of Huizhou architecture. This village, designed in the shape of a buffalo and famous for its sophisticated water system, features exquisite white walls, black tile roofs, and intricate wood carvings, reflecting traditional Anhui style. Stroll through Tunxi Ancient Street, a Ming-era merchant quarter known for its traditional tea houses and artisan workshops. Please note that inter-city transfers are not included; for example, Shanghai to Huangshan takes about five hours by high-speed rail (recommended) or limited daily flights, while Hangzhou to Huangshan can be reached by 3.5 hours of high-speed rail or a 3-hour express coach. This itinerary offers a rich blend of cultural immersion and historical exploration in the heart of Anhui Province.

You will stay at either the Shilin Hotel (4★) or the Xihai Hotel - New Wing (5★) as your base for exploring Yellow Mountain. From your hotel, a scenic 1-hour drive will take you to the base of Yellow Mountain, where you will ascend via the Yungu Panoramic Cable Car, gliding through cloud forests to reach the mountain top. You can choose between two tailored hiking experiences: A. Adventure Route (Fitness Recommended): This involves a 30-minute descent past the iconic Umbrella Pine to check in at the summit hotel, followed by a challenging 3+ hour trek through the West Sea Grand Canyon covering the 1st and 2nd Rings and the canyon floor. There is also an optional 40-minute round-trip sunset hike to Bright Top Peak. B. Leisure Route (Family-Friendly): This easier option features a gentle 30-minute walk via Dream Flower Pine to the hotel, with flexible canyon exploration options including a 2-hour hike on the 1st Ring or 2.5 hours on the 2nd Ring. Sunset viewing is available at the Cloud-dispelling Pavilion with a 30-minute return walk. For convenience, store your main luggage in Tunxi or your hotel, as mountain storage is available for about CNY 20 per item. Additionally, a mountain monorail offers a 5-minute shortcut (CNY 80) between the Baiyun Hotel area and the canyon base. The Yungu Cable Car operates daily from early morning to late afternoon and is recommended to save energy and time, offering spectacular views of the mountain’s peaks and cloudscapes. Hiking routes vary in difficulty and length, with popular paths including loops through scenic peaks, pines, and granite formations. It is advisable to arrive early during peak seasons to avoid queues and check shuttle and cable car schedules for smooth ascents and descents
